Which NSA Georgia Membership Type fits you?

NSA Georgia members join as one of three different types:

1. NSA Georgia Membership

To maintain our professional standards, we reserve the NSA Georgia Member designation for full-time professional speakers who are also members of the national chapter of the National Speakers Association.

If you’re not yet a member of the national chapter, click here to learn about its requirements---or consider our Associate Membership. Feel free to attend our meetings as a guest for $50 while you determine which membership makes the most sense for you. We’ll keep you on our mailing list for 6 months to keep you informed of upcoming meetings.

Please note: Members of NSA Georgia are not automatically members of NSA—they must meet the membership requirements of NSA separately.

NSA Georgia Members enjoy the same career-enhancing benefits as all members:

- More than a dozen opportunities every year for you to network with other speaking professionals
- Knowledge and ideas for developing your speaking potential and improving your skills
- Educational programs for marketing and making your business financially viable
- Opportunities to hear and meet nationally-known speakers
- Potential to showcase your talents to members and others who hire speakers
- Chance to contribute to the success of new members
- Advance copy of our monthly newsletter Soundly Speaking, which will inspire and educate you
- Participation in committee and special projects that allow you to be of service and build your credibility with other members
- Regular communiqués from the Board of Directors

- Increased exposure of your services to those who hire speakers through a listing on our website
- Opportunity to market yourself as a member the NSA and NSA Georgia
- Ability to hold leadership positions in NSA Georgia and NSA
- Invitations to special members-only meetings
- Use of NSA and NSA Georgia logos in your marketing promotions

Membership fee for NSA Georgia Members: $275 annually, plus a $50 initiation fee, which is due with the application.  Please note: all memberships are renewed each August.

2. Associate Membership

Associate Members enjoy the same career-enhancing benefits as all members:

- More than a dozen opportunities every year for you to network with other speaking professionals
- Knowledge and ideas for developing your speaking potential and improving your skills
- Educational programs for marketing and making your business financially viable
- Opportunities to hear and meet nationally-known speakers
- Potential to showcase before members and others who hire speakers
- Chance to contribute to the success of new members
- Advance copy of our monthly newsletter Soundly Speaking, which will inspire and educate you
- Participation in committee and special projects that allow you to be of service and build your credibility with other members
- Regular communiqués from the Board of Directors

And as an Associate Member, you also enjoy these additional benefits:

- Invitations to regular NSA Georgia monthly morning meetings at no additional charge
- Invitations to Lunch & Network sessions and afternoon educational sessions at the Associate price

In accordance with NSA guidelines, we ask that Associates not identify themselves as NSA members. Also, Associates may not use the NSA or NSA Georgia logos or advertise in the chapter directory. They cannot showcase or publicly represent themselves as chapter members or NSA members.

Membership fee for NSA Georgia Associates: $300 annually, plus a $50, non-refundable initiation fee, which is due with the application. Please note: all memberships are renewed each August.

3. NSA Georgia Vendor Membership

NSA Georgia welcomes vendors who serve NSA members. If you’d like to build a relationship with Georgia’s professional speaking community, membership will be a good investment for you.

For Vendor members, we offer these benefits:
- We'll allow only one vendor member in a service category (as defined by the NSA Georgia Board)
- We'll promote the member in our newsletter, on the website, an opportunity to be interviewed from the platform during one chapter meeting.

The Vendor applicant must be sponsored by an NSA Georgia Member (not Associate) in good standing.  The Vendor application must be approved first by the Vendor Oversight Committee and then by the Board of Directors. Details are on the application.

A vendor classification may only contain one (1) vendor. The following classifications are filled:

• Audio Production
• E-mail Marketing
• Leads Development
• Speech Pathologist
• Video Presentation Tool
• Video Productions
• Web Development

Membership fee for NSA Georgia Vendors: $300 annually. Please note: all memberships are renewed each August.
